Biography

Sheheryar Mehmood received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NUST, Islamabad. After that, he joined Saarland University for his Master's studies. There, he worked under Professor Peter Ochs as a Master's thesis student. He also worked under Professor Pauli Miettinan as a student assistant on subtropical tensor factorization. After finishing his thesis, he received a degree in computer science and joined the Mathematical Optimization Group of Peter Ochs as a PhD student. His main interests lie in parametric optimization and its applications in machine learning.
