Brief Bio:

Yu Tang received her B.Sc. in June 2018 from South China Normal University. She continued her studies at Guangxi University, pursuing an M.Sc. in Mathematics with a specialization in dynamical system and optimization. During her Master's program, Yu completed her thesis on the topic of Exploration of a Class of Fast-Converging Optimization Methods. Since September 2025, Yu has been a PhD student at the Mathematical Optimization for Data Science Group at Saarland University, led by Prof. Peter Ochs. Her research interests include optimization algorithms, dynamical system for optimization problems, and machine learning.
