MOP Retreat

The MOP Retreat is an annual research retreat at Saarland University, founded in 2023 by Peter Ochs and Jalal Fadili (ENSICAEN, Caen) and organized jointly by both groups. It takes place every year in the third quarter. Each year, current group members come together with former PhD students and postdocs, now at universities across Europe, and a wider circle of colleagues and friends.

Instead of a fixed conference program, the retreat is built around informal talks, open problems, and plenty of unstructured time to work together. Many collaborations between our groups and institutions have started here.

Participation is by invitation.
