Brief Bio:

Wang Shida received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University, China. After that, he joined University of Bonn for his Master's studies. His Master thesis was about computing Wasserstein distances. After finishing his thesis, he received a degree in Mathematics and joined the Mathematical Optimization Group of Peter Ochs at the University of Tübingen. He is interested in continuous optimization and application of computational optimal transport.
